About me

My passion is helping people help themselves. I graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Family Relationships, and earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. I have worked in community-based mental health, hospitals, and private practice supporting children, adolescents, adults and families from diverse backgrounds.

I have training in the following areas:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Career Counseling

  • Neurodivergent Affirming Care

  • Gender Affirming Care

  • Play Therapy

  • Sand Tray Therapy

  • Expressive Arts

  • Mindfulness

  • Nonviolent Communication

Asking for help is vulnerable and courageous. I know how hard it is to reach inward in order to make the change you want happen and I am here to support you, encourage you, and challenge you. Self-awareness, reflection, and support are the keys to success, which for me means living a deeply authentic and fulfilling life. I want you to leave our time together feeling secure in who you are, confident in your strengths and excited about your life.

Outside of work, I love to thrift, crochet, read, cook for friends, watch reality TV with my partner, and play with my dog, Gus. I am always striving to be up to date on the latest research in identity development and wellness, and utilize my academic background in psychology and counseling to inform my work with clients.
